Sakhi
privacy policy.
Sakhi is made by OMSR Technologies, India. Short version: everything you put in Sakhi stays on your phone. We don't collect it, see it or sell it.

What we collect
Nothing. Sakhi has no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no trackers. OMSR Technologies never receives your data.
What stays on your phone
Your name, cycle and symptom logs, mood journal, wellness data, vault notes, shopping list, reminders, emergency contacts and settings. They are stored encrypted with a key kept in your phone's secure hardware and are not included in cloud backups.
Microphone
Used only while you switch on Guardian Mode, and a notification is always shown while it runs. Sound is analysed on the phone, a second at a time, to recognise screams or words like "help". It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
Location
Read only during an SOS or "Walk with me", to put a Google Maps link in the text message to your contacts. Sakhi does not track you otherwise. Location is provided by Google Play services on your phone.
SMS
Used only to send your SOS, location updates and "I'm safe" messages to the emergency contacts you choose. Sakhi never reads your messages. Normal SMS charges from your carrier may apply.
Contacts
You pick emergency contacts one at a time with Android's picker. Sakhi never reads your address book.
What you share, and with whom
When an SOS or "Walk with me" runs, your name, the alert reason, the time and your location are sent by SMS to your chosen contacts. You decide who they are. A PDF health summary is only created and shared when you tap Export.
Internet
Used only to download the optional offline language packs for Guardian from alphacephei.com (the makers of Vosk), and when you open a link to our website. Like any website, those servers can see your IP address. Nothing about you is sent.
Deleting your data
Settings → Erase all data deletes everything. Uninstalling Sakhi also deletes it all. Because we hold no copy, we cannot recover it.
Children
Sakhi is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian's knowledge.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and at omsrtech.com/sakhi/privacy/. Questions: [email protected].
